DIY Homes is equipped to help you build your own home in all 50 states. Our owner builder program allows you to build your own home using any plans source, any materials, and we'll get you 100% financing for land, materials, and labor. Here is how our program works:

• A DIY Homes representive will send you a prequalification form by email.
• Fax your pre-qualification form to DIY Homes.
• We will review your pre-qualification form with you by phone.
• 24-72 hours, we will have an answer for you.
• DIY Homes will call you back with results of prequalification.
• Upon preapproval, DIY Homes will email you our Service Agreement.
• Return Service Agreement
• Bank docs containing a good faith estimate and disclosures are sent to you.
• Sign and return bank documents along with required documentation to lender. (W2's, tax returns, etc.)

Prior to Closing

• DIY Home will send you budget forms, bid forms, and sub-contractor agreements, etc.
• Contact local building department and request a Builders Packet.
• If no plans are ordered, order plans and send 1 copy to DIY Homes, LLC.
• Start looking for land if you do not already own.
• Start collecting bids from sub-contractors.
• DIY Homes can help you find an appraiser and title company.
• We will help you finish your budget and submit to lender.
• Sign your finalized budget and send back to lender.
• Your file is submitted for Underwriting with our lender and a closing date is set.
• Your land is paid and permitting and construction can begin.

After Closing Your Construction Loan

DIY Homes is with you through the entire process of building your home. We will be prompt at returning phone calls and assisting you in any way we possibly can, all the way to permanent mortgage modification.
